Cox has announced that it will offer a Free Super WiFi Hotspot throughout Metro Phoenix starting today/February 2, 2023 and running through February 26, 2023. The Super WiFi Hotspot is a network of 1,300 Cox WiFi hotspots and will be available to those who live here; and to the more than 120,000 visitors who are expected to descend on the Valley for the Super Bowl, Waste Management Phoenix Open, Arabian Horse Show and other marquis events.
Cox internet customers with Preferred, Premier, Ultimate and GIGABLAST internet packages already have free access to all Cox WiFi hotspots as part of their service. They also have access to the nation’s largest WiFi network, CableWiFi, which includes more than half a million hotspots throughout the country and over 1400 in Arizona.
Through February 26, everyone in the Metro Phoenix area, will be able to access the free Super WiFi Hotspot by selecting the “FreeCoxWiFi” wireless network (SSID) on their WiFi-enabled device when it detects the Super WiFi Hotspot. For more information on Cox hotspot locations here.
