Arizona Financial Credit Union<\/a> is pleased to announce the promotion of Amy Hysell from executive vice president\/chief innovation officer to president and chief executive officer effective January 1, 2023. With more than 25 years of experience at Arizona Financial, Hysell will continue to drive the credit union\u2019s soundness and growth throughout the state to bring diversified financial services to current and future member-owners.<\/p>\n

During her eight years serving as CIO, Hysell led the integration of Arizona Financial with both Pinnacle Bank and Horizon Community Bank following acquisitions of both over the last four years. Since joining the credit union in 1996, she has held the positions of chief information officer, chief lending officer (consumer and commercial), business analysis officer, and has led risk management, card services, project management, research and development, and retail branches.<\/p>\n

\u201cAmy\u2019s contributions over the past three decades have been monumental in shaping Arizona Financial\u2019s business operations and culture as we have continued to expand our footprint across the Valley and throughout Arizona,\u201d said Ronald Westad, former president and CEO of Arizona Financial. \u201cI cannot think of a more qualified and deserving individual to assume this role to lead this trusted financial organization into the future. The board of directors and I are confident that Amy will continue to build on the values that have been the foundation of our culture with a focus on doing what\u2019s right for our member-owners, team members and the community.\u201d<\/p>\n

Hysell is also very active in supporting diversity and inclusion efforts within the organization and has served as the sponsor of PRIDE, Arizona Financials\u2019 LGBTQ+ resource group, one of the credit union\u2019s five employee resource groups. Her leadership extends outside of Arizona Financial and into the community as a contributor to several local charities.<\/p>\n
