While the contract is being finalized, Phoenix Children\u2019s remains an in-network provider for families with Cigna employer-sponsored health coverage.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"content__body\">\n<p>\u201cPhoenix Children\u2019s is steadfast in our commitment to provide the highest quality healthcare to our growing community,\u201d said Robert L. Meyer, President and CEO of Phoenix Children\u2019s. \u201cThoughtful and purposeful agreements between payers and providers help ensure families can access the exceptional care they need, closer to home, and we look forward to finalizing our contract with Cigna in the near term.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are committed to ensuring that all those we serve have access to high quality, affordable health care services in their community,\u201d said Kim Shepard, General Manager, Cigna Arizona. \u201cPhoenix Children\u2019s is a valued provider partner and we look forward to finalizing our agreement with them to ensure the families we jointly serve can continue to benefit from their services.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Phoenix Children\u2019s will continue to offer comprehensive pediatric healthcare services for Cigna members, including inpatient care, outpatient care, physician and ancillary providers, imaging, laboratory tests, surgery, emergency department care, specialty and urgent care centers, as well as other Phoenix Children\u2019s facilities and services.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Phoenix Children\u2019s and Cigna announced the two organizations reached a tentative agreement as contract discussions continue.
