The center is an \u201call-in-one\u201d health care facility at The Grove, located at Camelback and 44th Street in Phoenix.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBanner Health Center <em>plus<\/em> is a destination health care setting,\u2019\u2019 said James Cote, vice president of the non-profit organization\u2019s ambulatory services. \u201cWe\u2019re bringing world-class academic medical center expertise from Banner \u2013 University Medical Center Phoenix to the Arcadia community. As health care leaders focused on clinical excellence, research and teaching, the goal of our entire team is to ensure patients receive the very best care from top-notch medical experts right in their own community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This is the second location of Banner\u2019s newest clinic type, which combines urgent care and family medicine with a full array of specialists, along with advanced imaging, laboratory services, physical therapy, executive health care and sports medicine all in one location. Banner Health Center <em>plus <\/em>in Glendale opened in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Cote said a major focus of Banner Health Center <em>plus<\/em> is the consumer experience. \u201cOur goal is that the health center team will work together as one and create a seamless experience at each patient touchpoint,\u201d he said.\u00a0\u201cWe know consumers are busy and we want to make health care easier, so life can be better.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Specialty care at the Arcadia location includes orthopedics, general surgery, vascular surgery, endocrinology, gastroenterology, obstetrics\/GYN and bariatrics. The 70,000-square-foot, two-story building has 60 exam rooms, six infusion bays and a separate entrance for urgent care.<\/p>\n<p>Banner Health Center <em>plus<\/em> combines multiple aspects of the health care experience. The convenient location features spacious design, accessibility, advanced technology, and a wide range of exceptional providers.<\/p>\n<p>The Grove, a $400 million mixed-use destination on the northwest corner of 44th Street and Camelback Road, is located at one of the most high-profile intersections in the Valley. Banner Health joins the elite group of revered companies located at The Grove. These include a state-of-the-art Phoenix Suns and Phoenix Mercury private training facility that opened in late 2020, and The Global Ambassador, a hotel by restaurant innovator Sam Fox that will merge hospitality, culinary and wellness experiences. The Grove is slated to open in fall 2023. Additionally, a Class AA office building by <a href=\"http:\/\/REDdevelopment.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">RED Development<\/a> welcomed its first tenant in October 2022 and is fully leased.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt&#8217;s a tremendous honor to welcome Banner Health Center <em>plus<\/em> to The Grove,\u201d said Mike Ebert, managing partner at RED Development. \u201cThe opening of this state-of-the-art campus, coupled with Banner&#8217;s innovative approach, marks a new era for health care options in Arcadia.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>In addition to RED Development, project partners include Okland Construction, architecture by Nelsen Partners and interior design by Devenney Group. The center is designed with a patient-centric strategy to transform health care options in the area.<\/p>\n<p>Banner Health is one of the largest, secular nonprofit health care systems in the country. In addition to 30 acute-care hospitals, Banner also operates an academic medicine division, Banner \u2013 University Medicine, and Banner MD Anderson Cancer Center, a partnership with one of the world\u2019s leading cancer programs, MD Anderson Cancer Center. Banner\u2019s array of services includes a health-insurance division, employed physician groups, outpatient surgery centers, urgent care locations, home care and hospice services, retail pharmacies, stand-alone imaging centers, physical therapy and rehabilitation, behavioral health services, a research division and a nursing registry.
