Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack<\/a>, a locally owned and operated fast casual chicken restaurant and franchise, will be opening its first Arizona location on May 18, 2023. Owned and operated by the Scottsdale-based entrepreneur and founder of RE\/MAX, Dave Liniger, Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack will be hosting a grand opening event that is open to the public on Thursday, May 18, 2023, from 4:00 \u2013 7:00 p.m. Located at 11107 N. Scottsdale Rd. Suite 101, Scottsdale, AZ 85254, the Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack grand opening event will feature complimentary food samples, 50 percent off full-size menu items, and the first 50 people at the event will receive \u201cFree Chicken For A Year.\u201d Complimentary food samples will also be served during the restaurant\u2019s regular hours of operation on May 18 from 7:00 a.m. \u2013 10:00 p.m. The grand opening event is free to attend.<\/p>\n

Launched in 2018 in Pasadena, Calif., by a husband-and-wife duo and a chef-to-the-celebrities, Pace Webb and Chris Georgalas, Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack was launched with the mission to be a neighborhood-style fried chicken cult favorite. Aligned with its mission, it launched its second location in Houston, Texas in October 2022. The Scottsdale location will be its third location in the U.S. with 160 franchise locations planned to open by 2024. As consumer interest and national expansion plans grew for Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack, it caught the attention of Dave Liniger, a nationally recognized business owner and investor. Liniger, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based entrepreneur and the owner and founder of RE\/MAX, the real estate industry\u2019s leading company, saw an opportunity to help take Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack to the next level and make Webb\u2019s franchising dreams a reality. Liniger\u2019s private equity business, Area 15 Ventures, acquired Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack with full ownership in April 2023, marking the Scottsdale location as the franchise\u2019s flagship location under Area 15 Ventures\u2019 ownership.<\/p>\n

Backed by Webb\u2019s vision and chef-driven menu, in partnership with Area 15 ventures\u2019 expertise, Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack will continue to deliver on its vision \u2018to bring all walks of life together, one fried chicken sandwich at a time.\u2019<\/p>\n

Inspired by Webb\u2019s husband\u2019s Japanese heritage, the Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack menu features a unique twist to traditional Southern style fried chicken dishes, such as its Big Daddy sandwich comprised of napa slaw and sriracha mayo, while the Spicy Daddy features sambal, cilantro, and ginger mayo. For dessert, the restaurant offers salted miso chocolate chip cookies, baked fresh each day.<\/p>\n

Another unique menu item is its Lil\u2019 Daddy Flight, which is a \u201cchicken sandwich tasting flight\u201d with three chick-sized slider versions of its top-selling sandwiches: Big Daddy, Spicy Daddy, and All American Daddy. Each piece of chicken served at Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack is brined in buttermilk overnight and double dredged in a handcrafted, custom-made spice blend with seven proprietary herbs. In addition, the Scottsdale menu features Southwestern-inspired dishes, such as its Southwest Daddy, featuring zesty green chile sauce made from flame-roasted Hatch Valley Green Chile peppers native to the Southwest, jalapeno ranch, bacon and a spicy chicken rub topped with its signature Napa Slaw served on a brioche bun.<\/p>\n

Daddy\u2019s Chicken Shack plans to open 9 more locations throughout Arizona, with rapid expansion in the Southwest, including a Colorado location slated to open in July 2023.<\/p>\n
