Banner Health<\/a> has named Staci Dickerson as the organization\u2019s new chief financial officer and executive vice president, starting on July 17. Dickerson was selected following an extensive national search.<\/p>\n

\u201cStaci will be a great addition to our executive team and will serve in a very critical role as we continue to grow our business and find ways to reduce the cost of health care,\u201d said Peter Fine, Banner\u2019s chief executive officer.<\/p>\n

With more than 25 years of experience in health care, Dickerson joins Banner from Sharp HealthCare in San Diego, CA, a fully integrated, AA-rated regional health care delivery system. In her time there, she served in a variety of system roles including director of managed care finance and vice president of finance\u2013and most recently as senior vice president of finance and chief financial officer.<\/p>\n

Dickerson is actively involved in the health care industry including participating in the California Hospital Association, Healthcare Financial Management Association and Health Management Academy. She not only served as a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants Healthcare Expert Panel but is also a former member of the Healthcare Financial Management Association’s National Principles and Practices Board and the San Diego\/Imperial Chapter Board.<\/p>\n
