He will fit into the Phoenix office nicely,\u201d said Greg Falls, managing member of Sherman &amp; Howard\u2019s Phoenix office. \u201cWe appreciate his exuberance for estate planning, along with his love of numbers and the law. Additionally, we are proud of his commitment to giving back to underprivileged children through volunteerism and mentorship. He is one of the good guys who truly cares about his community, and we couldn\u2019t be prouder to have him aboard and see the difference he will make for his clients and the greater Phoenix area.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Trusts and estates planning is Rapp\u2019s way of blending his love for numbers, the law, and helping clients.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI like to make sure clients\u2019 estate plans are in good shape and ensure we\u2019re preserving their wealth for family and future generations,\u201d Rapp said. \u201cIt gives them peace of mind knowing their assets will be in order and their children and relatives will be taken care of. That\u2019s the biggest benefit to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think of estate planning as a puzzle,\u201d he said. \u201cYou have a problem where you\u2019re trying to find the right pieces to put the plan together to make sure your client is well-served,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Rapp is an avid community volunteer, and he has enjoyed giving his time to the annual Back to School Drive every year since he was in middle school. The drive enables him to mentor and talk to underprivileged children and give them the supplies and clothing they need to go back to school each fall. He also is a children\u2019s chess coach.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cService to community is important,\u201d Rapp said. \u201cIt\u2019s a lot of fun to have an impact in those children\u2019s lives, and it\u2019s also beneficial to me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rapp graduated cum laude in 2021 from Sandra Day O\u2019Connor College of Law at the University of Arizona. Before that, he graduated from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Accounting in 2018. In his final year of law school, he stayed busy working as a legal intern for the U.S. District Court in Arizona, as a tax policy intern for the Arizona Center for Economic Progress, and as a law clerk for Wieneke Law Group in Tempe, Ariz.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Trusts and estates planning attorney Zachary Rapp has joined Sherman &amp; Howard\u2019s Phoenix office.
